The Junior Wakeboard Academy is a weekly programme for kids and teenagers who want to develop their cable wakeboarding in a fun, supportive environment.
More than just riding, it’s about meeting your peers, building friendships, and progressing together. Working on skills, pushing limits, finding your crew.
- – Kids aged 7–14
- – Riders who have had their first basic lesson up to high-intermediate level
- – Must be comfortable swimmers
SAT & SUN SESSIONS
The Saturday session is the perfect option for kids with activities on Sunday. One dedicated cable line, smaller group, same great coaching.
- 11am–1pm every Saturday
- One cable line dedicated to the Academy
- All levels welcome — beginners to improvers
- Helmet, vest & wetsuit included
- Coaching on the dock
- Trampoline available between sessions
Sunday is the main Academy day. Both cable lines are open, more riding time, and the classic Kids Club atmosphere — kids who’ve been coming for years mixing with newcomers.

- BOTH cable lines open for the Academy
- Maximum 12 kids — first come, first served
- All levels — beginner to intermediate
- Everyone rides at least once (likely twice)
- Family brunch available 11am–2pm

BUILDING A TEAM FROM LAGOS
The Junior Wakeboard Academy is more than a weekend activity. We’re building a real local wakeboarding team — riders who train together, push each other, and one day represent Lagos at parks across Portugal and beyond.
Our trampoline lets riders practise tricks and grabs between water sessions. Land training = faster progression on the cable.
Weekly sessions build friendships. The Academy is a community — riders who show up regularly form the core of the Lagos wakeboarding scene.
Our goal: take the Lagos team to other wake parks across Portugal and to Lunar Cable Park in Spain. Get good enough here, and you’ll ride everywhere.
FAMILY BRUNCH
Drop the kids off at the Academy and relax. Every Sunday from 11am–2pm, we open a family brunch offer at the snack bar so parents and families can enjoy the lake view while the kids ride.
Fresh food, great coffee, the sound of the cable motor in the background. There are worse ways to spend a Sunday morning.
SUMMER WAKEBOARD CAMP
3 full days on the water. Two sessions per day, lunch included, all gear provided. Perfect for kids who want more than a weekend session — intensive, fun, and built for real progression.
